Description

The HP StorageWorks MSA1000 SAN Starter High Availability Kit provides the necessary hardware pieces to insure redundancy. It replaces the two older HA Kits that included StorageWorks Secure Path software. The new kit allows the customer to pick their own path-failover solution, which can be MPIO for Windows, QLogic Failover for Linux, or HP Secure Path. This option kit gives you a second array controller, a second switch, two more of the FCA2214 HBAs and cabling. It's an easy and cost efficient option that brings the user the redundancy protection many users desire. This kit includes: one redundant controller, one HP MSA SAN Switch 2/8, four SFP transceivers, and two FCA2214 HBAs and cables.
